Type Hacking

Hacking Your Type to a Deeper Level of Understanding of Yourself, Learn How to Manage Yourself and Others and Build Better Relationship

(For the time being your type adventure is housed at the HQ until it finds its own virtual home.)

Let’s Start

Here is what you’ll get from your sessions

  1. A fresh perspective about yourself, your interests, behavioral preferences
  2. Understand why others are so different and why they might think the same about you
  3. Get a quick glimpse of your favorite mental preference aka your life captain or hero, the captain’s trusted assistant (think Batman-Robin, Sherlock Holmes-Dr. Watson)
  4. Be aware of potential blind spots
  5. Figure out why you might have problem with your boss, coworkers or even friends
  6. Learn some simple type hacks

What is Type Hacking?

Type hacking is a way of understanding ourselves through the use Jungian psychological type and the MBTI framework, developed from the work of Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung.
Do you know that our brains are naturally wired to do certain things, why we love and loathe certain activities? We have our favorite patterns of thoughts, feelings and ways to perceive and make a conclusion of the world.
It’s true that we can learn new skills and change certain habits to develop and growth as a person. However, we need to keep in mind that “As you grow, you become more of who you already are.” writes Markus Buckingham.
Wouldn’t it make sense to know our brain’s innate, natural wiring so we can develop more of the skills and engage in activities related to our preferences? It’ll make life hell a lot easier.

Why Type Hacking?

“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” Aristotle
No matter where you live, what you do, what skills you possess, you want to be effective with people. Be effective with people is an inside-out process. It will be a long road to be effective with others if you are not yet effective with yourself.
Because in the words of Stephen Covey, we need to “Seek first to understand than to be understood.”

Meet the Type Hacker

After spending years of unofficially type-hacking myself and others, I decided to go legit. I finally got the license (certified MBTI Practitioner) to hack.
An adventurer at heart, I spent the last decade exploring and discovering the world. But there is another discovery which I care much more, the quest to answer the following questions:
Do we know who we are?
What do we believe? What is our true north?
Do we live the best that we can?
Do we live a good, strong and meaningful life?

How We Are Going to Do This?

We can meet locally or over Skype. If I happen to travel where you live, we can meet up there as well.

During the session, you will take a Psychological Type Assessment. I’ll provide insight of the result and how to take it from there.

You choose one of the options for step 1 (paid or free).
1a) You pay to take the official Myers-Brigg (MBTI) from an authorized provider.
1b) You take a free Jungian type assessment.
1c) You send me your type code.
2) Then you choose a session package which includes 1 or multiple sessions.
